I’m going to drop a hot take on everyone here; buying gifts for kids is the best gift buying there is. Not only is it so low risk (kids will love pretty much everything you gift them – just ask the mum who got her son an avocado for Christmas) but also the pure excitement that you see wash over their faces as they hastily unwrap whatever you’ve bought them is such a pure thing to see. I’ll take that any day over the reaction of an 18-year-old who got another knitted jumper from Auntie Bertie for his birthday. This gifts for kids list is the most fun I’ve had when finding presents. There’s just so much to pick from, and there’s a gift for kids for every occasion. If it’s your son’s birthday maybe he’d love a new football, the latest Lego Star Wars set, or perhaps the hottest new video game out. Once again, this is a pretty easy question to answer. Kids have the wonderful ability to love nearly everything they throw themselves at, and so finding the best gift for a kid is often simple. Just find out what it is that they already love and get something of a similar vein! 

For example, if the kid in question loves football, get them their favourite team’s kit. If they love art, get them some drawing supplies. If they love Disney films – Okay I’ll stop now, you can already see where this is going.
